Not particularly focused on anything other than just chatting about memories (both their own and some sent in by the community) and spending time with the live chat, this episode nonetheless was a blast to record and will be fondly remembered by everyone. While there isn't necessarily a ton of new Grimoire information, the connections that are confirmed and even those which are strongly implied are enough to warrant a full episode on its own. From discussing the actual location of the Iron Temple to a dive into the new Grimoire that each of the original members of the Iron Banner, get ready for some good chatter and a few well placed laughs.

Our 7th installment of the Extra Lore series (and the 53rd episode, for those keeping track out there) brings Blue, Justin, and special guest co-hosts Grneyedmusiklvr and coedbeast together to chat about the overarching story of the well known Assassin's Creed series. The episode covers the basic layout of the philosophical tension that lies at the heart of the conflict between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order as well as getting a bit into the weeds on the exact source of the Pieces of Eden and First Civilization. Justin does have some insight on the difficulty of a particular mission from his time in the game, but we'll let you decide on if he was successful in capturing the importance of his discovery.

The question of who (or, as the group discusses, what) Alpha Lupi is one that is somewhat of a popular subject of discussion in particular areas of the Destiny lore community - and for good reason. The enigma is one that, even after the years of playing and exploring in game, still remains an unknown variable within the game.

Explore the advancements that we know of through the Grimoire with us and enjoy some tangents on the nature of a few of the ramifications that such things could have created within the society which saw them occur.

Episode 49 brings Blue, Justin, and Mel together to discuss the various arenas that players throughout the Destiny universe do battle with one another in. There are some truly amazing nuggets of lore hidden within the cards dealing with the many different arenas that we currently have access to - and the upcoming capability to freely explore these areas is something that the team, regardless of the console of choice, is exited to experience. There might also be a bit of a ranting theory by Blue near the end concerning the historical ties with the Crucible and Iron Banner to the gladiatorial games of Rome.
